Lemon Lime Twist Christmas

Image
Here's a twist on Christmas! I love the non-traditional green of this card!!! I decided to pull out my Cardfront Builder Thinlets and give them a shot (ha! Big Shot!) I love how this card turned out! Even with the bright Lemon Lime Twist, it is soft because of the monochromatic look. I love the versatility of the Fresh Florals Designer Series paper! I think it pulls off the Christmas look just fine!!! Products used:

A Night At The Pumpkin Patch

Image
I host a Girls Night Out once a month in my studio. Last night was August Girls Night Out. The subject of Artist Trading Cards came up and one of the gals mentioned she was not familiar with an ATC. I quickly grabbed my collection of ATCs from my best friend Lindy. She looked through them and was in awe at her talent. She mentioned how the ATCs could inspire an A2 size card. If you are not familiar with ATCs, they are small scale cards that are exchanged. There is a theme that is decided upon each time a new card is made and based on the theme, each person comes up with a 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 card that is flat and does not open. Anyway...back to my story...this morning I went to work looking through my ATC collection to find the one that inspired me the most and here it is folks! The first image below is the original ATC made by Lindy McVay . The second picture is my card that was inspired by the ATC! I decided to CASE it and I am sooo pleased at how it turned out!!! The original ATC was made

Painted Harvest

Fall time is approaching and I cannot resist a beautiful card that displays my favorite season perfectly! This set is so versatile! Here are some card samples to prove it! If you are interested in making any of these cards, the products are listed under each card. There is a tutorial over at my Facebook page Purple Pinky Promises for this first card. I suggest that you start at 23:40 instead of taking the painful task of watching me try my hand at Facebook Live for the first time from the very beginning. Unless you'd like to feel better about yourself. I can't make a card upside down, but I can make one backwards! Ha! There's a first time for everything! The measurements for the card in the tutorial are as follows: Whisper White Cardstock-5 x 3 3/4 and strip for leaves-6 1/2 x 1 3/4; Wood Textures Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4 x 4 and for sentiment 2 1/2 x 1 1/4; Crushed Curry Baker's Twine: 29 1/2" NOTE: Painted Harvest stamp and punch bundle, Merry Little Christma

Daisy Delight Stamp Set and Punch

Image
Hello everyone! Today I am showcasing the beautiful Daisy Delight Stamp Set and coordinating punch. After playing with this combo at On Stage, I HAD to have this set in my pre-order! I also used the new In Color Lemon Lime Twist ink for this card. To make this card, I double stamped the daisy image first with Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad and then slightly offset it with Lemon Lime Twist. The daisy is cut in half and and layered with Stampin' dimensionals. And finally, the sentiment is inked with Lemon Lime Twist and Tangerine Tango. Materials used: Tangerine Tango Classic Stampin' Pad - 126946 Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad - 131171 Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad - 140931 Aqua Painters - 103954 One Wild Ride Clear-Mount Stamp Set - 141724 Balloon Celebration Photopolymer Stamp Set - 140675 Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock - 100730 Tangerine Tango 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock - 111349 Shimmery White 8-1/2" X 11&quo

This Little Piggy

Image
I just returned from Onstage! What a wonderful time! One of the free stamp sets I received was "This Little Piggy". What a darling set! I couldn't resist the having the pig fly into the arms of her beau! I just had to include the sun from "Pocketful of Sunshine" which is another freebie I acquired at Onstage! To achieve the flip image of the flying pig, I stamped the pig with Archival ink onto an acrylic block and then I stamped the image from the block onto Whisper White cardstock. Finally, I outlined the image with the Basic Black Stampin' Write marker. I just love this set! The potential is endless!!! Materials used: Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock - 100730 Soft Sky 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock - 131203 Crushed Curry 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock - 131199 Soft Sky Classic Stampin' Pad - 131181 Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad - 140931 Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad - 126944 Subtles Stampin' Wri

Easter Basket

Image
This darling little basket was a combo inspiration from Angie Juda at Chic n Scratch and Claudia Maser at Kreativ Blog. I love the sweet sugarplum gingham papers from the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper and the white pom pom ribbon is just ADORABLE!!! Using the Window Box Thinlets dies for a basket was genius! I took the two and combined them for a perfect match! This is a perfect little mini basket to place at the table for a name place holder at Easter. Throw some candy inside and you have a darling little addition to your table! All the items I used to create this are listed below. Just a quick note: I used the "Happy Easter" stamp from this Month's Paper Pumpkin kit. If you If you love this project and want to duplicate it, shop with me at donna.stampinup.net or click on any item below and stick it in your basket!
