I cased this card from the annual catalog with a few additions. I achieved the fringe on the nest by pulling the white thread from our denim ribbon. Once removed, I placed the white thread behind the dinosaur. The egg opens and closes with a reinforced brad. The dinosaur and egg are on a wobbler to give the illusion of an egg cracking open. The twine is from the Tags and More accessory kit. To make this card, click on the products below to make a purchase. Thank you! Happy Stamping! Here's a card that will satisfy the avid crafter! With layers and a fun technique that requires an angle cut. I have to give a shout out to my team leader, Leslie Benson for the layout of this beautiful card! To achieve the angled layers, cut a piece of cardstock (black) at 5 x 3 3/4. Place it on the Stampin' Trimmer and angle it so that the top left corner measures at 1 inch on the left side of the cutting blade and the bottom right corner measures at the 1 inch mark at the right of the cutting blade. Hold your paper still and cut at this angle. Then take your Designer Series paper and cut it to measure 4 3/4 x 3. Using the same technique, take the upper left corner and measure it at the 3/4 inch mark on the left side of the cutting blade and take the bottom right corner to measure at the 3/4 inch mark on the right side of the cutting blade. Hold your paper down and cut it at this angle. You've done the most difficult part of the card! The rest is easy peasy! To ...
