Unity {be inspired} Challenge-Jordan's Mini Album

Last weekend was a little rough. We moved our son to Arkansas where he and his future bride will live. This is his first move AWAY from home. He's lived outside our home, but only minutes away. This was our first official "letting the bird fly from the nest moment". Before he left, I made him a mini album of some of his "firsts". I am entering it into the Unity {be inspired} Challenge. I chose the sketch for this challenge.   Here's the album:   Materials: Unity Stamp Co. FWF-Birthday card

I made this card for my aunt. I confused her birthday with my other aunt (her sister) and sent her a card two months early, but she never let on and thanked me so generously for making her a card. It wasn't til I got closer to her real birthday (looking ahead to see who I needed to make cards for) that I realized my mistake. So on her real birthday, I decided that I would send this card to let her know that I realized my mistake. I love it that Unity Stamp Co. sends the goofed up stamps in their kit anyway. They include a note about the mistake and explain that just because there is a mistake doesn't mean that we can't still use it in a creative way! Isn't that awesome! I love it, cause in the world of creating (including God and all of his creation) THERE ARE NO MISTAKES!!!!     Materials: stamps- Unity Stamp Co . Mojo Monday sketch challenge-Sympathy card

This is a card that I made for my niece on my husband's side of the family. She lost her grandmother that was so dear to her. She owned and operated one of the more well known dance studios in Omaha, Nebraska. Over the years, the fruit of her labor produced seven gals with the title of Miss Nebraska competing for Miss USA, not to mention the many Miss Junior titles. We will all miss Kitty. She was an incredible person with vivacious energy that we all admired. Her gift of teaching dance will live on in the hearts of girls for generations to come.   Entering in the following Challenge:    Materials used: Paper-Bo Bunny, DCWV journaling card-Pink Paislee Silhouette die cut Webster's Pages trim Hobby Lobby ribbon Recollections Rhinestone flourish Teresa Collins alpha stickers Recollections pearls American Crafts Metallic gold marker http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/2013/08/mojo-monday-305-contest.html
