Look out Stampin' Up! Here I come!

Hello Everyone! I'm here to post a new adventure for me!! I've decided to give it a whirl as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I am very excited for this new chapter. The thing I love the most about this is that I will get the chance to facilitate the art of card making. Through this, people will get the opportunity to unplug from the chaos of life and connect with each other. In this day of technology and disconnect from society, I hope to see two things unfold: 1.) A sense of shared interest that brings community with laughter and relaxation at the center. 2.) A chance to create handmade cards that will have handwritten messages sent to loved ones. I think everyone can agree that we could all use a little more of both! Watch this blog for weekly card inspiration. I plan to get a post out soon to give a sneak peek at some of the cards we will make at my first upcoming workshop. For more information about the workshop, click the Stampin' Up! logo on the right side of this b...

Farewell card-FWF Friday

Image
I am posting this card that I made a couple of weeks ago. I entered it into the ODBD challenge. Since then, I updated it by adding some bling and then I dressed up an envelope to go with it. So I decided to link it up to the Friends With Flair Friday challenge over at Unity Stamp Co. I made this card as a farewell card to my niece and her family. They moved to the Kansas City area two years ago after they got married. We have had fun growing even closer, but his job has moved them to Denver. They found out about the move on the first day of Fall. I told Krista that was ironic because this means that they will literally start a new season in their lives. They only had a month to pack up and leave and we said our tearful good byes on Wednesday evening this week. The sentiment and the images are well suited for this card and envelope because of the situation. When she opened it, she cried. Then I followed. I will miss all of them soo mu...
