Wow! A lot changes in a year! I cannot believe it has been that long since I have posted. We have moved to a storefront since I have last posted! Wow! What a dream come true! It is so much fun doing what I love to do. It doesn't feel like work at all. I confess, it isn't easy to keep up with all the demands of running a storefront, maintaing a full time interpreting position and being wife, mom, grandma and guardian. So unfortunately, the blog tends to get placed on the back burner. But here I am on the cusp of Christmas with a post for you! And guess what?! I have no store links. Nope! This one is just for pure enjoyment. But if you do want to shop, the link is here on the page under my profile when you click the menu lines on the top left of the page. So let's get started!
I created the simple form of this gift card holder while live. Here's the link to that video with instructions: https://youtu.be/lvw2dbNONAk
Here is a picture of the simple form inside and out:
So you can keep it simple, or jazz it up like I have in the first photo above. Or if the gift you have given someone isn't quite enough, you can add it to the front of the gift with matching wrapping paper like I have here:
The snowflake was attached below the bow with a glue dot and the bauble and jingle bells were strung together and tied to the ribbon right below the snowflake. The greenery is held together with a glue dot and attached to the back of the bells and bauble. I have a step by step process pictured for this below. Now here's another idea-you can hang it off a gift bag or attach it to a cute burlap sack like I have here:
The steps to create the bells and bauble with greenery are simple and are as follows:
Step one is to thread one bell on either side of the bauble with pretty twine.. Step two is to take the twine and tuck it under the bow and tie it.
Now glue dot your greenery together and tuck it under the bow with a glue dot facing the bow side.
Like I said, you can go simple or embellish it up! And here's another look again!
Thank you so much for stopping by and giving us your support! We certainly appreciate you!
